Purple Presence

Purple Presence transforms the organic structure of the leaf into a more enigmatic and atmospheric visual state.

Purple moves across the surface between luminosity and shadow, emphasizing veins, folds and irregularities while distancing the form from its natural appearance.

Against the surrounding black field, the leaf appears suspended and self-contained, familiar in structure yet altered in perception.

The work explores how color can shift a recognizable natural form toward ambiguity, creating a presence that feels simultaneously physical, distant and introspective.
